About the role
We are a leading defence company who are at the forefront of innovation in the industry and your work will have a direct impact on the safety and security of the UK & our allies. We are currently looking for a Firing Trials Lead to work in our team. In this role you will support the team in:
Leading the daily running of ISV firing trial activities
Generating trials documents such as safety documentation including Trials Hazard Analysis and Safety Submission
Commissioning and setup of trials sites
Carrying out environmental clearance testing
Working with the design and manufacturing team for proving and integration activities

What we need from you:
Experience in firing trials and/or system integration
Ideally experience in external trials preparation and conduct and working within a trial environment
Willingness to work in potentially harsh and remote conditions and away from home for extended periods
Demonstrated ability to work closely with external range and facility suppliers
A good understanding of the company ISV processes and procedures
Personnel management and team leadership skills
Ability to communicate effectively across internal functions and customer community
