First Aid Administrator - Southport

First Aid Trained Administrator Required - Immediate Start

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for a First Aid Trained Administrator to join a secondary school in Southport for an immediate start.

This is a full-time, four-week temporary position, working Monday to Friday from 8:15am to 3:10pm.

The successful candidate will support the medical and welfare needs of students, including providing basic first aid, responding to students who become unwell or injured, and administering medication in line with school procedures and appropriate training.

The Role

Provide basic first aid to students throughout the school day
Respond appropriately to minor injuries, illness and student medical needs
Administer prescribed medication in accordance with school policies and procedures
Maintain accurate records of medication administered and first aid treatment
Support students with ongoing medical needs
Communicate with parents/carers regarding student medical needs when required
Ensure first aid supplies and medical equipment are appropriately maintained
Deal calmly and confidently with students who are unwell or injured
Provide some general administrative support relating to student welfare and medical records

The Ideal Candidate

First Aid trained with a current and relevant qualification
Experience of administering medication
Experience working with children or young people
Calm, caring and confident when dealing with students
Reliable, organised and able to work independently
Fully available for the full four-week assignment
Available to start immediately
Must hold their own Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
