Are you an experienced production or packing supervisor looking for your next challenge within a leading food manufacturer? We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established, fast-paced food manufacturing business based in Leicester (LE4) for a Packing First Line Manager to join their production team.

The Role

Working within the production team, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality products are produced safely, efficiently and hygienically, and delivered on time to customers. Day-to-day, you will:

* Ensure packaging is correctly prepared and labelled for production

* Maintain quality standards across the packing area at all times

* Work flexibly across the business to help meet service levels

* Minimise packing/production downtime during working hours

* Keep the packing/production area clean, tidy and audit-ready

* Support with cleaning of the packing room as required

What We're Looking For

* Experience working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment (essential)

* Strong written and numerical communication skills (essential)

* Food safety and Health & Safety training (desirable)

* A resilient, hands-on approach with the initiative to meet and exceed targets

* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence people at all levels

* A genuine team player who puts the wider business first
