Job Description - Fish Filleter (Cod & Haddock)

This Fish Filleter role is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, wants their earnings to reflect their skill and output, and is looking to join a busy operation where productivity and quality are genuinely valued.
 
This is a role where experienced processing professionals can directly influence their earnings through performance, working within a fast-moving environment focused on quality, efficiency and maximising yield.

Prepare white fish products to a consistently high commercial standard
Maximise yield while maintaining excellent presentation and quality levels
Achieve daily throughput and production targets
Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures
Maintain equipment safely and correctly throughout the working day
Support efficient production processes while minimising waste What we’re looking for in a Fish Filleter

Previous commercial experience preparing white fish products
Strong knife handling skills and knowledge of yield optimisation
Experience working within food production or processing environments
Understanding of food hygiene and quality standards
Previous exposure to productivity-based or piece-rate working environments would be advantageous Working Hours
Monday to Friday, typically 5:00am–2:00pm or 6:00am–2:00pm, with optional weekend work available when required.
