Welshpool, Immediate Start (Monday 3rd Aug)
4–5 Week Contract | CIS / LTD payments.
£250–£325 per day (depending on experience)
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Fit-Out Site Manager to oversee a fast-paced school refurbishment project in Welshpool during the summer holiday period.
Working on a tight programme with a fixed completion date, you will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health & safety standards, and ensuring the project is delivered on time and to a high standard before the new term begins.
Duties
* Manage the day-to-day running of the refurbishment and fit-out works.
* Coordinate subcontractors and trades on site.
* Monitor progress against programme and resolve site issues quickly.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety compliance.
* Conduct inductions, toolbox talks, and site inspections.
* Oversee quality control and ensure works are completed to specification.
* Liaise with project teams to ensure smooth and efficient delivery.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Site Manager on fit-out, interiors, or refurbishment projects.
* Experience delivering fast-track projects to strict deadlines.
* SMSTS.
* CSCS Card.
* First Aid at Work.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Enhanced DBS beneficial but not essential.

* Location: Welshpool
* Start: Monday 3/8/26
* Duration: 4–5 weeks
* Rate: £250–£325 per day, depending on experience and suitability
* Payment: CIS or Limited Company
