Fitter

Futures is looking to appoint a Mechanical Fitter for our West Yorkshire based manufacturing client.

You will be responsible for the in-house fitting, assembly and test work and will take a lead on site installing and servicing equipment as and when needed. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus scheme and every other Friday off (an additional 24 days holiday per year).

Fitter / Electrical Fitter / Mechanical Fitter / Electrical Distribution /

* Ensure that all equipment is assembled and tested to the highest standard

*Travel to third party sites both in the UK and abroad to build up the equipment and test, sometimes including anti-social hours
* In-house fitting and assembly of various types of distribution and power transformers and electrical equipment.

* Competent user of general workshop machinery and hand tools

*Read and understand mechanical and schematic drawings
* Hands on experience of working within a mechanical/electrical engineering environment is essential
* Apprentice trained with appropriate engineering qualification
