A well-established engineering and manufacturing business is expanding its team and is looking for experienced people across a number of hands-on manufacturing and engineering positions.

These are opportunities to join a specialist engineering environment working on complex mechanical equipment and assemblies, with roles covering mechanical fitting and assembly, product finishing, and equipment testing.

We are particularly interested in candidates with backgrounds in mechanical engineering, manufacturing, rotating equipment, industrial coatings, testing or mechanical assembly.

Available Opportunities

Mechanical Fitter

You will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of specialist equipment and packaged systems, working from engineering drawings and Bills of Materials.

Key responsibilities include:

Building mechanical assemblies from engineering drawings

Assembling pump systems and packaged units

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

Identifying and resolving build issues

Working closely with Engineering, Quality and Planning teams

Ensuring work is completed safely and to the required quality standards

Test Rigger

You will prepare mechanical equipment for testing and carry out testing in line with established procedures and customer requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

Rigging mechanical equipment ready for testing

Carrying out tests against defined procedures and customer requirements

Supporting customer and third-party inspection activities

Working closely with the wider test team

Maintaining accurate and safe working practices

Product Finisher Lead

You will be responsible for the preparation and finishing of specialist engineering components, while supporting the development of the wider finishing team.

Key responsibilities include:

Power washing and cleaning components

Shot blasting surfaces to the required profile

Applying industrial coatings by spray or brush

Checking coating quality and thickness

Working to specified coating requirements

Coaching, training and developing other team members

Maintaining high standards of quality and safety
Only candidates based in UK and eligible to work in UK are allowed
