Job Title: Fitter Tester

Location: Yeovil

Role Type: Permanent role

As a Fitter Tester at Honeywell, in Yeovil, you will be responsible the assembly & test of a range of environmental control system assemblies used in a variety of Aerospace applications. This role will focus pronominally on fitting.

Key responsibilities:

Items are produced in accordance with manufacturing instructions, specifications and Customer/Regulator Requirements.  You will be working within an empowered team environment to meet delivery requirements.

• Producing product to engineering drawings and instructions
• Mechanical fitting of Environmental Control Systems
• OCQ - Operator Control of Quality 
• To achieve on time delivery by ensuring work is completed on time and to the required standard
• Interpreting engineering drawings, following the process layout and documentation procedures

Key skills and qualifications:

• Full and permanent right to work in the UK without the need of sponsorship
• Residing within an easy commute to our Yeovil site 
• Knowledge of mechanical fitting applications
• Working experience within Aerospace highly preferred
• Practice and the significance of the safety critical work undertaken (Manufacturing experience also considered)
• PC literate with the ability to read and follow instructions
