Are you a highly organised administrator with a keen eye for detail and a passion for driving process improvements? We're looking for a proactive Fleet Administrator to join our team on a 6-month temporary contract, focusing on the effective management of Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs) across our fleet operations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys analysing data, improving processes, and making a measurable impact on business performance and costs.

About the Role

As Fleet Administrator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day administration of PCNs, ensuring notices are processed accurately and efficiently while helping to reduce overall costs through improved reporting, investigation, and process improvements. You'll work closely with colleagues across operations, finance, and drivers to identify trends, resolve issues, and promote best practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process incoming PCNs accurately and within required timescales.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records across internal systems.
  • Investigate PCNs, reviewing supporting evidence and liaising with relevant stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for appeals and manage the appeals process where appropriate.
  • Ensure notices are paid within deadlines to avoid additional charges.
  • Monitor outstanding PCNs and ensure timely follow-up.
  • Analyse data to identify trends, recurring issues, and root causes.
  • Produce reports highlighting key findings, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement initiatives that reduce PCN volumes and associated costs.
  • Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders to improve compliance and reduce future PCNs.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in fleet administration, PCN management, or a similar administrative role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Personal Qualities

  • Proactive and solution-focused approach.
  • High levels of accuracy and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced environment.
  • Continuous improvement mindset.

Why Join Us?

This role offers the opportunity to make a real impact by helping the business improve processes, reduce costs, and create a more efficient approach to PCN management. If you're someone who enjoys identifying solutions and delivering tangible results, we'd love to hear from you.

Apply today to be part of a team committed to operational excellence and continuous improvement.
