Job Description - Fleet & Logistics Administrator


Key Purpose of the Job:

As part of the team, you will be involved in all aspects of the day-to-day Fleet and Logistics administrator. We are looking for a candidate with strong administration skills as well as some help on the Warehouse floor.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Fleet:



  • Manage & maintain daily, weekly & monthly reports, making sure that all deadlines are met.

  • Organise & manage all contract ending vehicle inspections.

  • Fleet induction to new starters.

  • Distribute all penalty notices to the relevant parties concerned.

  • Support drivers with policy & procedures.

  • Issue & return of company vehicles.

  • Processing Invoices & raising Purchase Orders.

  • Arrange hire vehicles & vehicle maintenance when needed.

  • Arrange vehicle repairs.

  • Ensure fleet records & databases are kept up to date.

  • Order & distribute fuel cards.

  • Manage the insurance database (Adding and removing vehicles when needed).

  • Arrange for vehicle equipment to be installed.

  • Arrange branding on vehicles when required.

  • Liaise with drivers and suppliers over the telephone & on email.

Warehouse



  • Receive, inspect, unload and process deliveries accurately

  • Pick, pack, prepare & process orders for dispatch accurately

  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g pallet trucks, forklifts – if qualified)

  • Support with daily stock checks and investigate any discrepancies

  • Daily reports to key stakeholders

  • Processing returns

  • Work closely with Purchasing

  • Keep work areas clean, tidy & organised






Requirements

  • Protect assets from unauthorised access, disclosure, modification, destruction, or interference

Essential Requirements:



  • Driving licence

  • Attention to detail

  • Teamwork and collaboration

  • Punctual and flexible

  • Work quickly and accurately to meet deadlines

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues

  • Competent at driving cars & light commercial vehicles (Up to 3.5T)

Desirable Requirements:



  • Forklift License (Counterbalance)
