Commercial Fleet Business Development Manager

Location: homeworking with travel to prospective and existing client and occasionally attending team meetings
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm or 8.30am–5.30pm

Salary: competitive basic salary with an excellent realistic OTE of £80k+

You’ll take ownership of building your own B2B pipeline across the UK, identifying potential customers, understanding their fleet requirements and delivering suitable vehicle solutions. You’ll also manage the accounts you win, creating opportunities for repeat business and long term growth.

The role

* Generate new business through proactive prospecting, outbound activity and networking.

* Build relationships with business owners and senior decision makers.

* Understand fleet requirements and present tailored commercial vehicle solutions.

* Manage the full sales process from initial approach through to completed sale.

* Negotiate commercial terms and close profitable business.

* Manage and grow your customer accounts.

* Maintain accurate CRM records and an active sales pipeline.

* Achieve and exceed sales and margin targets.

What you’ll bring

* Experience in business development within leasing offering fleet solutions for corporate/commercial businesses

* A proven track record of generating your own leads and winning new business.

* Confidence approaching businesses from cold and securing conversations with decision makers.

* Strong commercial awareness, negotiation and closing skills.

* Experience managing opportunities from prospect through to completion.

* The resilience, organisation and self motivation to manage your own sales activity.

Previous experience in offering leasing solutions is essential!
