As a fleet deployment specialist, you'll be responsible for preparing fully autonomous vehicles for driver testing missions, update vehicles with correct software and vehicle cleaning tasks. You will also provide on-road assistance if required. You’ll help ensure the smooth operation of the vehicles and depots
What You’ll Do
· Operate autonomous vehicles across London, setting up cars for charging and manoeuvre them safely in and around the depots.
· Assist with simple vehicle adjustments and settings while cars are parked.
· Ensure smooth vehicle preparation and launch for vehicle operators during your shift.
· Report feedback clearly to internal teams to support ongoing development.
· Clean vehicles inside and out as per requirements (training provided).
· Uphold safety, reliability, and professionalism throughout each shift.
What You’ll Need
· You will be over 21 (for insurance purposes) with a full clean UK driving licence held for at least 3 years.
· Comfortable driving in London traffic and urban environments.
· Tech-savvy – able to use in-car tablets and reporting apps with ease.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow set procedures.
· Be able to effectively communicate with the tech and all colleagues.
· Reliable, punctual, and professional.
· Willing to work a rolling shift pattern including evenings and weekends
Ideal Backgrounds
· Bus, coach, HGV, delivery, taxi, police, logistics
· Tech support, IT helpdesk, QA or systems testing who also happen to be confident drivers
· Engineer, field service, diagnostics, or troubleshooting
· Tech-savvy individuals from other industries (e.g. logistics, telecoms)
