Job DescriptionTXM Recruit are working with a TOC in the West Midlands to recruit a Fleet Engineer, this post would suit someone from a railway graduate scheme with 4 + years experience. Purpose of Job & Principal AccountabilitiesManage the process of Engineering Change with the Train Service Provider and Lessor throughout; inclusive of scrutinising of requests for change Ensure that accurate records of train configuration are maintained by the Train Service Provider.Ensure that regular review meetings are held with the Train Service Provider.Ensure that safety issues are being captured effectively and managed appropriately.Support the Fleet & Contract Manager with identifying and developing business cases to improve performance by enhancing fleet reliability. Support the Fleet & Contract Manager with identifying and developing business cases to optimise maintenance activities and extract best value from fleet operation.Deputise for all professional engineering matters.Participate in Fleet ‘On Call’.EssentialPost Holder must have Chartered Engineer status or be working towards it.Degree Qualified Previous experience of Railway Vehicle technical issue or depot management.Personal Track Safety Awareness (TOC PTS Certification to be provided on commencement).
