Flood and Reservoir Engineer- Birmingham

My Client, a market leading multidisciplinary Engineering Consultancy, which specialises in Flood Risk, Hydrology and Natural Flood Management, is searching for an Flood and Reservoir Engineer to join their Team based in Birmingham.

This exciting role will offer candidates the opportunity to join a friendly team of Engineers and Hydrologists to complete Flood Risk, Flood Defence and Reservoir Projects for local Authorities and Government Bodies.

As a Flood and Reservoir Engineer you will required to complete technical work including;

-Natural Flood Risk Management.

-Reservoir Discharge, Consents, Permitting and Risk.

-Erosion Protection.

-Flood Alleviation Schemes and Flood Gate Design.

-Flood Risk Assessments.

-Flood Estimation.

-Drainage Strategies.

It is essential that applicants have a strong BSc and MSc in Civil or Environmental Engineering and experience working for a UK based Consultancy completing Flood Risk Assessments and Reservoir Discharge, Consents and Permitting.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally. This role can be based in Bristol, Birmingham and Warrington.
