My client, an innovative, highly-respected Multidisciplinary Consultancy, is currently searching for a Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to join their expert team of design engineers, based near the large, industrial, thriving city of Sheffield.

Essential Criteria:

• A Degree in Geography, Civil Engineering, or other relevant discipline
• Extensive commercial experience in a flood risk and/or drainage-based role
• Familiarity with planning and environmental regulations, as well as appropriate Section Agreements and their respective applications within the industry
• Experience of using GIS software (e.g., QGIS), and other relevant software packages
• Hold Chartered Status, or actively working to attain this

It would also benefit applicants for the role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant to possess the following skills:

• An additional, postgraduate qualification in a relevant discipline
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Experience of stakeholder management

In the varied role of Senior Flood Risk and Drainage Consultant, you will join a dedicated team of consulting specialists in the field, with a view to developing your career and progressing within the company. The role will involve a number of exciting responsibilities, including:

• Producing Flood Risk Assessments, drainage strategies, and planning applications
• Overseeing the design of Sustainable Drainage System (SuDS), producing technical drawings and plans

• Establishing and maintaining working relations with clients and other internal and external stakeholders
