Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and fit carpets and vinyl flooring to precise specifications.
• Install Polysafe flooring using appropriate welding techniques to ensure a seamless finish.
• Inspect subfloors and prepare surfaces for installation.
• Collaborate with clients and project managers to understand their requirements and expectations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and adhere to safety protocols.
• Provide guidance and advice to clients on flooring care and maintenance.
• Stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in flooring installation.

• Proven experience as a floor fitter, specifically with carpet and vinyl flooring.
• Knowledge of Polysafe welding techniques and installations.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials safely.
• Qualification or certification in flooring installation is preferred.
