About Shuel Construction Shuel Construction Ltd is an established social housing maintenance contractor delivering high-quality repairs and refurbishment works for housing associations and local councils across England. We hold CHAS, Constructionline Gold, and SafeContractor accreditations and operate a growing portfolio of contracts.

The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced, reliable Floor Layer to join us on a self-employed/subcontract basis, covering works in and around Oxford. This is a regular, ongoing opportunity with a company that pays on time and takes pride in the quality of its work.

What You Will Be Doing

* Laying carpets, vinyl, Polysafe (safety flooring), and click flooring in occupied and void social housing properties

* Working to specification and finishing to a high standard, first time

* Liaising professionally with site supervisors and tenants where required

* Completing works within agreed timescales

What We Need From You

* Proven, hands-on experience laying carpets, vinyl, Polysafe, and click flooring

* Own transport — essential

* CSCS card — preferred

* Standard DBS- Is a MUST

* Professional, punctual, and self-motivated

* Able to work independently with minimal supervision
