Floor Manager

JOB PURPOSE

:

You will be part of the management team of the restaurant. The role requires a person who leads by example, who is professional at all times but also has a welcoming and friendly disposition. Our guests choose Dinings SW3 for a memorable experience, and it is your role to ensure that you together with the rest of the team make each experience memorable for guests through your knowledge and while living the values.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation ofthe restaurant through management direction
You will participate in building guest relations
You will be responsible for supervising staff and ensuring a high level of service in accordance with our standards and values
You will live by SOP working alongside the Restaurant Manager
You will be responsible for commis waiter development ensuring you have regular 121 meeting with them at all times
You will work closely with other managers and HR
You will be responsible for knowledge equipping staff with the insight they need and sharing your experience
You will be taking care of customer queries and complaint while on shift and ensure they are dealt with or reported to higher management in a timely manner
You will lease with senior chefs and communicate any change, complaints, or allergies while on shift
You will work collaboratively in the spirit of teamwork, but lead by example
You will familiarise yourself with all company policies and be an advocate
You will assist with recruitment and ensure that recruitment interviews meet the legal guidelines
You will bring new ideas and bring them to the attention of the RM and GM
SKILLS
At least 2 years management of restaurant experience in a similar role
A good understanding of hospitality
Ability to work with people and work collaboratively across different functions
Remain calm and constructive under pressure, solution orientated
Have a good understanding of restaurant food production and basic knowledge of food preparation
Extremely well organised whilst being comfortable multitasking across different responsibilities.
