FLT Driver

Location: Barton Under Needwood
Duration: 6 months in Doncaster while training then moving to Barton Under Needwood
Pay Rate: £16.42 PAYE per hour (flexible depending on experience) (Paid for travel time and milage)

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an FLT Driver to support a project in an engineering environment. This role involves assisting with a product programme.

This is a hands-on position combining forklift driving with basic mechanical/labouring duties, ideal for someone who is reliable, practical, and comfortable working in a workshop setting.

Key Responsibilities

Operating a Reach Truck FLT to move equipment around site
Positioning lifting equipment onto a designated work rig
Assisting with basic rework tasks, including:
Moving completed units to storage or dispatch areas
Working as part of a team to complete a high-volume project (approx. 600 units)

Requirements

Valid Reach Truck FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
Previous experience in a warehouse, engineering, or manufacturing environment
Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
Reliable and able to work as part of a team

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4pm
Friday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
Flexible working options available:

Start or finish a little later or earlier depending on what's required.
