FLT Counterbalance Driver

Major Recruitment are recruiting FLT Counterbalance Drivers for our client based in Royton, Oldham.

A valid FLT Counterbalance Licence is essential to be considered for the role. Unfortunately we are unable to accept in house licences.

We are recruiting across rotating shifts (6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm) and fixed nights 10pm - 6am Monday to Friday.

General duties:

Working in a busy warehouse environment
Operating a Counterbalance FLT
Loading and unloading
Moving stock around the site
General warehouse duties
Manual handling
Heavy lifting
Adhering to site health and safetyRotating Shifts

Pay Rate: £14.36 per hour

Working hours: 6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm Monday to Friday (rotating weekly)

Fixed Night Shift

Pay Rate: £16.36 per hour

Working hours: 10pm - 6am Monday to Friday (fixed shift)

Pay will also be increased upon completion of additional FLT training, such as VNA, Reach, Bendi etc

Requirements

Valid FLT Certificate (external accredited license required - in-house licenses cannot be accepted)
Previous FLT Counterbalance experience
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitudeTraining & Site Requirements

2-3 weeks training on the 6:00am - 2:00pm shift before moving onto your allocated shift pattern
Full medical assessment required prior to starting
Drug testing
No smoking policy on site
Mobile phones are not permitted on the shop floorBenefits
