Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Salary: £30,000 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Rotating Days, Noons & Nights
Employment: Full-Time, Permanent

The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established business based in Stoke-on-Trent, is looking to recruit an experienced FLT Driver / General Operative to join their busy operation.

This is a varied, hands-on position combining FLT driving with general operative duties, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a role where no two shifts are quite the same.

The Role

Working as part of an established operational team, your duties will include:

* Operating a Forklift Truck safely and efficiently

* Loading, unloading and moving materials around the site

* Transporting stock and materials to designated areas

* Carrying out general operative and production duties

* Manual handling and movement of materials where required

* Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment

* Completing basic checks and following site procedures

* Working closely with colleagues to ensure daily operational targets are achieved

* Adhering to all company Health & Safety procedures

About You

We are looking for someone who:

* Has previous experience operating a Forklift Truck

* Holds a valid FLT licence/certificate

* Is comfortable carrying out general operative duties alongside FLT work

* Is reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team

* Has a good understanding of workplace Health & Safety

* Is physically comfortable with a hands-on role

* Is flexible and able to work a rotating days, noons and nights shift pattern
