FLT / Labourer

FLT / Labourer Job Description

* Operating forklift trucks safely to load, unload and move materials around the warehouse or yard.

* Loading and unloading deliveries from vehicles.

* Moving stock, pallets and materials to designated areas.

* Carrying out general labouring duties, including manual handling and keeping work areas clean and organised.

* Picking, packing and preparing goods for dispatch where required.

* Checking deliveries and reporting damaged or missing items.

* Following health and safety procedures and wearing the required PPE.

* Assisting other warehouse, production or site staff as needed.

* Carrying out routine checks on the FLT and reporting any faults.

* Maintaining a safe, tidy and efficient working environment.

* Performing other reasonable duties as required by the supervisor or manager.

Key requirements:

* Valid FLT licence/certificate.

* Previous warehouse, yard or labouring experience preferred.

* Good understanding of health and safety.

* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.

* Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
