Flt Operative

We are currently recruiting experienced FLT Drivers to join a busy steel distribution and warehouse operation based in Croydon.

The role involves the safe and efficient movement, loading and unloading of steel materials within an industrial warehouse environment. Candidates must be confident operating both Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts, handling stock safely and supporting the smooth running of daily warehouse operations.

Shift Patterns Available:

* Days: Monday to Friday

* Nights: Sunday to Thursday

Key Responsibilities:

* Operating Reach Truck and Counterbalance forklifts to move steel materials and stock.

* Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently.

* Moving and positioning materials within the warehouse and storage areas.

* Supporting stock control and general warehouse operations.

* Maintaining high standards of health and safety when handling heavy and potentially oversized materials.

Candidate Requirements:

* Valid Reach Truck and Counterbalance FLT licences.

* Previous FLT experience within a warehouse or industrial environment.

* Experience handling steel or other heavy materials is advantageous.

* Strong awareness of health and safety procedures.

* Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a team.
