FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver - Irlam

£14.00 per hour for the first 12 weeks, rising to £15.00 per hour Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)

My client, a well‑established distribution company based in Irlam, is seeking a high‑calibre FLT Reach & Counterbalance Driver to join their warehouse team. This is a long‑term opportunity with a pay increase after 12 weeks.

Role Overview

10-20% FLT work (Reach & Counterbalance)

80-90% warehouse duties including order picking, packing, loading and unloading

Heavy lifting involved

Meet & greet assessment on Day 1

30‑minute unpaid lunch break each day

Key Responsibilities

FLT operation - safe and efficient use of Reach & Counterbalance trucks

Order picking and packing

General warehouse duties including goods in/out

Manual handling and heavy lifting

Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

Valid FLT Reach and Counterbalance licences

Previous warehouse experience

Ability to lift heavy items safely

Reliable, hardworking, and able to meet performance expectations
