FLT / Stores Operative

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated CB FLT Driver / Stores Operative for a client based in Stafford Park. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This role requires a strong understanding of factory operations and the ability to handle various materials. Suitable candidates must have a valid UK drivers licence.

The hours will be Monday - Thursday 7am-4.30pm and Friday 7.30am-1.30pm

Responsibilities

* Safely operate a forklift truck to transport goods to designated locations

* Load and unload materials, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.

* Assist with inventory management and organisation.

* Perform basic maintenance checks and report any issues

* Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times

Skills

* Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for loading and unloading materials.

* Competence in operating forklifts safely and efficiently.

* Strong materials handling skills to ensure safe transport of goods
