FLT Team Leader- Backshift

As the FLT Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the FLT operations, overseeing a dedicated team of forklift operators, and ensuring smooth and safe material handling throughout our facility. Your leadership will drive high standards of safety, productivity, and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FLT team, ensuring efficient and safe operation of forklift trucks within the warehouse and production areas.
• Schedule and coordinate daily FLT activities to support production and despatch requirements.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies related to forklift operations.
• Conduct regular safety checks and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and hazards.
• Provide training and guidance to FLT operators to develop their skills and promote best practices.
• Liaise with warehouse, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.

Working hours: Dayshift

• Proven experience as an FLT operator with previous supervisory or team leader responsibilities.
• Valid forklift truck license and thorough knowledge of FLT safety regulations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
