Job Description - Fluidrive Engineer

They are looking for a Fluidrive Engineer to join their growing team. £50,000 – £60,000 (dependent on experience)
Monday – Thursday, 08:30am - 16:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm

Fluidrive Engineer
Job Description

Create new and revise old manufacturing drawings.
Ensuring all drawings created, modified, or scanned are checked approved and uploaded.
Ensure all drawings are drawn to suitable standards and in accordance with BS8888.
Maintain the current CAD system and drawing repository.
Maintain technical product records, manuals, and description.
Evaluate and interpret customer technical requests.
Perform design changes to existing designs as and when required.
Update drawings to the correct standard to ensure they are fit for current manufacturing processes.
Liaise with customers in UK and overseas.
To be the owner of Fluidrive technical related NCR’s
Visit suppliers that manufacture, machine and cast major components to assist and support processes.

Fluidrive Engineer
Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing and design function.
Mechanical engineering qualification to minimum HND level.
Experience of AUTO-CAD / Siemens Nx and Team Centre.
Knowledge of Engineering change and document control.
Good understanding and application of BS 8888 technical product documentation and specification.
Experience in power transmissions and rotating equipment.
