An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join a well-established organisation on the outskirts of Watford, operating within the insights, research and commercial services sector.
Working with a portfolio of established clients, you'll be responsible for driving engagement, retaining revenue, and identifying opportunities to expand business relationships through additional products and services.
This role also offers the opportunity to lead commercial improvement projects and contribute to enhancing client lifecycle processes across the business.

Key responsibilities:
* Manage and develop a portfolio of over 30 client accounts, building strong long-term relationships and ensuring high levels of engagement
* Take ownership of client renewals and retention, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to secure ongoing revenue
* Identify opportunities to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling additional services and solutions
* Use market intelligence, data and client insight to understand customer needs and support commercial decision-making
* Lead and support commercial projects, process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and customer experience
* Work closely with internal teams and senior client stakeholders to deliver successful commercial outcomes
* Monitor account performance and implement strategies to maximise client value and satisfaction
What the employer is looking for:
* Proven experience in a commercial, account management or client relationship role
* A track record of retaining and growing revenue within an existing client base
* Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Experience working within a data, research, insights or professional services environment would be advantageous
* A keen interest in market trends, commercial performance and customer needs
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and a large client portfolio effectively
* Strong project management and process improvement capabilities
* A proactive, commercially focused and results-driven approach
* Excellent communication and presentation skills
