FMCG Engineer | Contract Opportunity

I’m currently looking for a Continuous Improvement Engineer for a contract opportunity within a high-volume FMCG manufacturing environment.

This role would suit someone with a strong engineering background who has experience working in FMCG manufacturing, or a similar high-volume production environment, and who has a proven track record in Continuous Improvement across machinery and production lines.

📍 Castleford (West Yorkshire)
💷 Up to £500 per day (DOE)
📋 Inside IR35
📅 Monday to Friday - Immediate Start

🔧 Key experience were looking for:
• Engineering background within FMCG manufacturing
• Strong Continuous Improvement experience
• Hands-on experience working with manufacturing machinery and production lines
• Identifying and reducing downtime, waste and production losses
• Root cause analysis and structured problem solving
• Lean / CI methodologies
• Working closely with engineering, production and operational teams

The key is someone who can get into the detail of the machinery and processes, understand where losses are occurring, and then deliver practical improvements that have a measurable impact
