Our Haulfryn family has a fantastic opportunity for a full time Operational Trainer to join our prestigious and exclusive beach front The Warren & Spa Holiday Resort at The Warren in Abersoch, North Wales.
The Operational Trainer will support the park
operations team in all operational training from training needs analysis to creation/
delivery and then evaluation of all operational training, ensuring that all
team members are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to carry out
their duties efficiently and effectively in order to deliver a 5-star customer
experience.

What Will You Do
- Create,
develop and ensure the delivery of the park operational training schedule / calendar
to support the full employee lifecycle, through team and manager engagement in
performance & development, operational, compliance & other training. Working
in partnership with the relevant heads of department to ensure it achieves its
objectives. - Course
creation, development, and delivery, with a particular emphasis on all
operational training. Identify and employ the most appropriate method/ medium
of training for delegates - Maintain
up-to date knowledge of Learning and Development best practice and ensure this
is embedded into all learning and development - Lead
the Apprenticeship Programme on park to ensure apprenticeships are
appropriately delivered, tracked and reported. Support the development and
running of Academies. - Evaluate
training effectiveness and make improvements and recommendations for any
operational improvements. Monitor and
measure on park Learning & Development provision and ROI to provide
meaningful information to aid decision making and operational planning. - Communicates
effectively with the Park Management team and other senior management about all
operational training - Support
other training (e.g. induction) as needed
What Will You Bring
- Proven track record within an operational training delivery role,
ideally with Hospitality industry with Food and Beverage training experience - Skilled in training content creation
- Innovative
and engaging trainer focused on delivery results that benefit the customer
experience. - Ideally
CIPD qualified or equivalent, or working towards a relevant training qualification - Other
training accreditations (such as Insights Practitioner) not essential but advantageous - Current
knowledge of effective learning and development methods - Proven
experience in a training role covering a broad range of subjects/skills,
including soft skills, technical/operational and mandatory/compliance
(H&S, food hygiene) - Experience
of managing Learning Management Systems or designing and evaluating
e-learning courses advantageous - Proven
experience of coaching and developing others - Previous
experience of supporting Apprenticeships - Proficient
with Microsoft Office suite – Word,
Excel, PowerPoint (advanced), Outlook (advanced), OneDrive, Teams, Yammer - Experience of working within large teams or on your
own ability, in a fast-paced environment - Ability
to build advanced powerpoint content incorporating latest trends and
developments - High levels of flexibility and adaptability
- Flawless communication and presentation skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritise a changing workload, working
with pace and a positive energy and outlook - Self-motivated;
flexible; accountable, innovative; inclusive and disciplined in approach - Ability to
