Food and Beverage Assistant

We are looking for a passionate, customer focused team player who thrives in a busy environment? If this is you, then we are looking for you to join us at IKEA Exeter to join our food team.
We are looking for a variety of people to carry out different size contracts, these include weekend only, evening & weekend. We are also looking for a variety of different skill level of candidates, previous experience is not essential as full training will be provided. We have opportunities to work in our restaurant, serving the guests meals, working the tills and keeping the place clean & tidy to working in the kitchen cooking and serving the fantastic meals, following health & safety guidelines.

Expected Starting Date: 12th July 2024

WHAT WE OFFER

£12 hourly rate

12 - 34 hours hours per week, working from 2 days to 5 over 7 and 3 out of 4 weekends

We offer permanent contracts, advanced scheduling.

We operate 7 days a week to meet the shopping needs of our customers, we provide options for working evenings & weekends along with dayshifts, weekend working is a requirement of the role, and we will need to be flexible with your shifts which will be discussed at interview. You will receive every 4th weekend off.

The customer is always in focus, you strive to make them smile, taking time to seek and listen to feedback.

This is an extremely fast paced working environment and requires you to multitask, producing and serving food with regular heavy lifting.

Prior experience in food is desirable, but not essential if you have a roll up your sleeve mindset to the various tasks & challenges that present themselves.
