Food & Beverage Restaurant Manager

Denbies Wine Estate, one of Englands largest vineyards, is currently recruiting for an experienced and knowledgeable Food & Beverage Restaurant Manager to head up the Catering Operation at Denbies Vineyard Hotel
The position of F&B Manager will take overall accountability for the operations of Denbies Vineyard Hotel F&B operation whilst also having a strong input into the Gallery Restaurant. As the F&B Manager, you will be working closely with the Catering Manager and Operations Manager to deliver high-quality customer service to our guests.
Responsibilities:
Take responsibility for the Hotel F&B performance.
Implement cost control measures to optimise profitability.
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for all aspects of restaurant operations.
Meet and greet customers and effectively manage reservations and booking systems
Training and development of staff
In depth knowledge of Food and Wine is essential.
Maintain standards of quality control, hygiene, and health & safety
Check and manage stock levels and ordering supplies
Managing and motivating staff
Duty Management cover, including managing set up and close down of relevant functions and events.
This will be a customer-facing line management role leading a dynamic team with scope for personal and professional development
Requirements:
Excellent customer service and hosting skills
The ability to remain calm under pressure and lead by example
Proven track record in leading and motivating teams
Good verbal and written communication skills
A positive can-do attitude
Minimum 3 years experience within a similar role is essential
WSET Level 1 desirable
