Food Production Operative

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Food Production Operative to join a busy food production team based in Medway Towns.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is reliable, hardworking and comfortable working in a chilled food production environment. Following a successful 12-week period, there may be the opportunity for a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing, slicing and packing meat products
Working within a chilled production environment
Maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety
Carrying out lifting and manual handling duties where required
Following all company health and safety procedures
Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
Working Monday-Thursday 07.30-15.30 and Friday 07.00-15.00- no weekends.Full PPE is provided, including safety boots.

Requirements

Comfortable handling meat products
Able to work in a cold/chiller environment
Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling and lifting
Reliable, punctual and hardworking
Good work ethic and a positive attitude
Previous food production experience is beneficial but not essential
