Randstad Education is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Food Technology and Nutrition Teacher to join a vibrant secondary School. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who loves teaching practical and theory-based content, and who wants to cultivate skills students will carry far beyond the classroom.

The position is Full-time and Permanent, with a start date in September.

• Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology and Nutrition lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and well-equipped practical learning environment.
• Teach students how to prepare food with confidence, creativity, and care.
• Introduce knowledge of nutrition, dietary needs, sustainability, and global food culture.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback that motivates and informs.

• A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent) in a relevant subject area.
• Experience teaching Food Technology and/or Nutrition at Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4).
• A genuine enthusiasm for food education and student wellbeing.
• Strong classroom management and the ability to create a positive, respectful environment.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Two professional references from recent teaching positions.
