Food Technology teacher

Academics are currently looking for a Secondary Food Technology teacher to cover a maternity leave at a Halifax Secondary School.

Are you enthusiastic and commited to improving Secondary Technology results? Do you enjoy teaching all Food Tech elements as well as inspiring pupils to be engaged with the Secondary Food Technology curriculum? Then we want you at Academics!

Academics are an Educational Recruitment agency with almost 20 years in the field, covering many of the schools across Kirklees, Calderdale and Bradford - we have a supportive, knowlegeable team including 3 experienced teachers who are available for advice and support should you need it when applying for Secondary Technology teaching roles!

The role we are looking to fill starts in September, full time until Eater 2026 (or further as return date to be confirmed). You must have good behaviour management, strong health and safty guidance knowledge, and experience of teaching Food Tech at Secondary level.
