Are you a qualified Food Technology teacher looking for a new role this January?

Think Education Partners is recruiting a Food Technology teacher for a maternity cover position at a school in North Suffolk. Both full time and part time applicants will be considered.

You will teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4, helping pupils develop practical cooking skills, confidence and an understanding of food and nutrition.

The role

• Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory lessons.
• Assess pupils’ progress and adapt teaching to support different learning needs.
• Maintain a safe, well organised practical classroom.
• Prepare KS4 pupils for their coursework and examinations.

About you

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Be a Food Technology specialist with the knowledge and skills to teach KS3 and KS4.
• Have effective classroom management and a clear approach to practical food safety.
• Be committed to supporting pupils’ learning and progress.
