Your Role as a Food Technology Teacher:

🔹 Deliver Engaging Food Tech Lessons – Teach practical and theoretical aspects of food technology to secondary school students.
🔹 Encourage Healthy Eating – Foster an appreciation for nutrition, healthy eating, and sustainability in food choices.
🔹 Monitor Progress & Provide Feedback – Provide continuous feedback to help students develop their skills and knowledge in food technology.
🔹 Promote Life Skills – Help students develop skills they can use in everyday life, such as meal planning, cooking, and budgeting.

Who We’re Looking For:

✅ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience teaching food technology in a secondary school or independent school setting.
✅ Passionate About Food Technology – A genuine passion for the subject, with the ability to inspire and engage students.
✅ Creative & Practical – A hands-on approach to teaching that encourages students to experiment and learn by doing.
✅ Strong Organizational Skills – Ability to manage resources, plan lessons, and maintain a positive classroom environment.
✅ Empathetic & Supportive – A caring, patient teacher who is dedicated to the academic and personal growth of students.
✅ Strong Communication Skills – Ability to work closely with staff, students, and parents to ensure progress.
✅ An Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
