About the Role:
As a Food Technology Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and challenge students across Key Stages 3 and 4. You will play a key role in developing students' practical skills and understanding of food science, nutrition, and healthy eating. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for the subject, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to foster a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons in line with the national curriculum.


• Assess, record, and report on students' progress and attainment.


• Prepare students for GCSE examinations in Food Technology.


• Support the development of the Food Technology curriculum.


• Maintain a safe and hygienic environment in the classroom and kitchen.

The Ideal Candidate Will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.


• Have experience teaching Food Technology at Key Stage 3 and 4.


• Be committed to raising standards and achieving excellence.


• Possess strong organizational and communication skills.


• Be a team player with a positive attitude and a passion for education.
