Forecasting Analyst - Traffic & Market Insights

Join the Aviation team as a Traffic Forecasting Analyst and play a key role in shaping the airport’s future. You'll translate data into clear, actionable insights, using data visualisation and storytelling techniques to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You'll use data analytics, modelling and forecasting expertise to provide valuable insights into passenger and traffic trends, supporting operational planning, financial forecasting and strategic decision-making. • Deliver accurate forecasting, analysis and reporting to support operational, financial and strategic decision-making. 
• Translate complex data and analytical outputs into clear insights, recommendations and business-focused actions. 
• Develop, maintain and improve analytical models, tools and reporting capabilities to ensure high-quality outputs. 
• Communicate complex information effectively to a range of stakeholders, tailoring messages for both technical and non-technical audiences. 
• Drive continuous improvement by enhancing processes, promoting automation and identifying innovative solutions to business challenges. 
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure access to relevant data, support collaboration and enable informed decision-making.

• Degree-level education in a numerate discipline or equivalent analytical experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and generate meaningful insights.
• Naturally curious, with a proactive approach to understanding trends, identifying root causes and challenging assumptions.
• Strong collaboration and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and deliver high-quality outputs within tight deadlines.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, capable of explaining complex analysis clearly and concisely to a range of audiences.

Desirable Criteria

• Knowledge or experience of forecasting, modelling or statistical techniques.
• Understanding of operational and commercial business environments.
• Experience working with data analysis and programming tools such as Python, R, SQL or similar.
• Experience developing dashboards, reports or data visualisation solutions.
• Interest in using data and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
