About Your Role

If you are a skilled, hands on, experienced generator Engineer who has leadership/ supervision skills, or wanting to take a step into management, then this role is for you!  

With your strong communication skills, and proactive approach, we are looking for you to come join our team at CES Power! You'll be the go-to expert in the Depot, leading the team onsite. Your role will bring a mix of troubleshooting, problem solving, as well as maintaining and servicing the generators. Crucially, you will lead from the front when it comes to health and safety, and you'll bring your expertise in delivering your highest standard of work, every time. 

What you'll be doing 

• You'll conduct maintenance, servicing and repairs on a range of generators to ensure performance and reliability 


• With your problem solving abilities, you will diagnose and troubleshoot faults, providing solutions to minimise downtime, or escalate to the Technical Team for additional support if things are a little tricker.


• You will oversee the daily operations on-site, displaying your delegation skills, guidance and team work, to ensure that we support our customers and met our targets


• With your great communication skills, you will liaise with the Depot Manager on a regular basis to provide progress updates, identify and work towards providing a solution to any issues that may arise, all with the end goal of ensuring we provide our best quality of work and deliver great customer service, whatever the event 


• Displaying your leadership skills, you will provide training and support to your direct reports, and new colleagues, including our Next Generation of apprentices. You will be keen to foster a culture of teamwork, and continuous improvement. 


• Put safety first, always. You will maintain accurate records in compliance with H&S regulations, refuse to cut corners, and promote a safe working environment, for everyone. 

What you'll bring

• You will bring your proactive and problem-solving abilities, ready to take on any challenge


• NVQ L3 or City and Guilds equivalent electrical and/or mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in power engineering or a similar industry


• As an experienced engineer, your own tools...that one's kinda important!


• Whilst proven experience in a supervisor role is on our wish list, if you can demonstrate the right approach to leadership and support, that is great, too. 


• A drivers license is essential, though!
