Forklift Operative

Are you an experienced Stores Operative with a valid Counterbalance Forklift licence?
We are recruiting for an established manufacturing business in Camberley for a Stores Operative to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis, with a salary of £30,000 per annum. This is a varied, hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, where you will be responsible for the efficient running of the stores function and ensuring materials are received, stored and supplied to production as required.

Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect and dispatch stock to customers, suppliers and internal teams.
Load and unload deliveries and collections.
Operate a Counterbalance Forklift to move materials safely around the site.
Maintain accurate electronic stock records and associated documentation.
Issue and receive consumables and materials.
Keep storage areas clean, organised, secure and safe.
Assist with stock control and inventory management.
Operate company vehicles to collect and deliver materials when required.
Support the wider production and stores team as needed.Skills & Experience
Previous experience working in a stores, warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Valid accredited Counterbalance Forklift licence – essential.
Good computer skills and confidence using Microsoft Office.
Experience with an ERP system would be advantageous.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
Self-motivated and able to work independently.
Reliable, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication skills and a flexible approach.Working Hours:
Monday–Thursday: 7:00am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:00am – 12:00pm
40 hours per week, with a 45-minute lunch Monday to Thursday.
