We are currently recruiting for experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operatives for a range of temporary assignments.
With multiple opportunities available, this is a great chance to secure flexible warehouse work across a variety of environments and assignments.
We are looking for reliable, safety-conscious individuals who are confident operating a counterbalance forklift and are comfortable working as part of a busy warehouse or logistics team.
The Role
As a Counterbalance Forklift Operative, your duties may include:
* Operating a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.
* Loading and unloading deliveries and vehicles.
* Moving, stacking and storing goods around the warehouse or yard.
* Safely handling pallets, stock and materials.
* Supporting the warehouse team with general duties when required.
* Checking goods and ensuring loads are handled correctly.
* Following site health and safety procedures at all times.
* Keeping work areas clean, safe and organised.
* Carrying out basic equipment and safety checks.
* Working effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational requirements.
Assignments may vary, giving you the opportunity to work across different warehouse, distribution and logistics environments.
About You
We are looking for candidates who have:
* A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence.
* Recent experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse, yard, manufacturing or logistics environment.
* A strong understanding of workplace health and safety.
* Good reliability and attendance.
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A positive and flexible approach to temporary assignments.
* Good attention to detail and a commitment to working safely.
* The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Position Details
Position: Forklift Operative – Counterbalance
Contract: Temporary
Pay Rate: From £13.15 to £13.82 per hour
Shift: Day shift
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
Working Pattern: Monday–Friday
4-day week: Available on selected assignments
Assignments: Multiple opportunities available
