Forklift Operator

My client, based in Thame is looking for a Forklift Operator.

The role will be based in their transport yard and warehouse, reporting to the Transport Manager.

You will be required to:

• Work across various activities to support the pallet network for the Transport Manager including forklift operations.
• The role will include moving or collecting items from the warehouse to vehicles ensuring all specific processes and Health and Safety guidelines are followed.
• Meeting delivery targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Deal with customers politely and with respect.
• Acting as a positive representative of our client at all times.
• Have the ability to work on your own with flexibility and as part of a team.

The successful candidate will have:

• A current Counterbalance certificate.
• Previous driving experience with a full and clean driving licence.
• You will need to be flexible, willing to adapt and learn and will be comfortable working in a transport and warehouse environment.

Working hours are 45 per week Monday to Friday to be worked between 8.30am - 6.30pm (with 1 hour for lunch).

Contracted overtime Saturday mornings 5am - 11am once per month.

Salary from 28,600K depending on experience with 22 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays.
