Forklift Operator

Adore Recruitment are working with a busy, family-run plumbing distribution business who are now looking to hire an experienced Forklift Operator to join their growing warehouse team.

This is a hands-on, full-time role working in a fast-paced environment, ideal for someone reliable, adaptable, and confident operating forklifts as part of day-to-day warehouse duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating forklifts (counterbalance and/or reach) for loading, unloading and stock movement

• Picking, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch

• Receiving and checking incoming deliveries

• Maintaining stock control and warehouse organisation

• Assisting with general warehouse duties when required

• Following health & safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid forklift license (counterbalance and/or reach truck)

• Previous experience in a similar warehouse/forklift role

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own vehicle (location not well served by public transport)

• Strong work ethic, adaptable and able to work under pressure

• Good communication and teamwork skills

• Punctual, dependable and eager to contribute to a supportive team

Pay & Hours:

• £12.67 per hour / £28,000 per year

• Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 6:00pm

• 42.5 paid hours per week

• Overtime available
