Forklift Operator

Proactive are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operator to join a busy manufacturing and distribution operation.

Responsibilities:

Operate forklift trucks safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock throughout the warehouse.
Coordinate daily warehouse activities to ensure materials and finished goods are stored, picked, and dispatched accurately.
Prepare and process customer orders for dispatch, ensuring products are picked, packed, and shipped on time.
Receive inbound deliveries, checking quantities and product condition against delivery documentation.
Maintain accurate stock records and support inventory control through regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments, resolving any delivery or stock discrepancies where required.

Experience:

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, logistics, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence .
Strong forklift operating experience, including loading, unloading, and stock movement.
Experience coordinating warehouse operations, deliveries, and dispatch activities.
Good understanding of stock control, inventory management, and warehouse processes.
