Bullet Express is looking for an experienced Warehouse / Forklift Operator to join our busy AM team at our Bothwell site.

This is a key role within our operation, and we are looking for someone who understands that Health & Safety, attention to detail and teamwork are essential when working in a busy warehouse environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

Your responsibilities will include:

• Loading and unloading lorries safely and efficiently.
• Moving and stacking pallets and freight using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Checking freight carefully and allocating it to the correct routes and vehicles.
• Carrying out accurate scanning and data capture.
• Checking labels, pallet quantities and freight information to ensure accuracy.
• Identifying and reporting damaged, incorrectly labelled or misallocated freight.
• Receiving and processing shipments accurately.
• Maintaining high standards of warehouse and yard cleanliness.
• Carrying out equipment checks and reporting faults or defects promptly.
• Following all site Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Working closely with colleagues to ensure the AM operation runs safely and efficiently.

Health & Safety

Health & Safety is a major focus of this role.

Working safely is not optional. You will be expected to follow all site procedures, operate forklifts and warehouse equipment responsibly and remain aware of colleagues, vehicles and other activity around you at all times.

You must be confident reporting hazards, damaged equipment, unsafe practices or anything else that could compromise the safety of yourself or others.

Attention to Detail

Accuracy is extremely important within our warehouse operation.

Freight must be scanned, checked, handled and allocated correctly. Small mistakes can result in freight being delayed, misrouted or loaded onto the wrong vehicle.

We are therefore looking for someone who takes pride in getting things right first time and who will carry out checks thoroughly rather than simply rushing to complete a task.

• Warehouse Colleagues
• Customers, suppliers and subcontractors when required

What You’ll Bring

A valid Forklift Licence is essential for this position.

You should also have:

• Previous hands-on forklift experience.
• Experience working within a busy warehouse environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A strong understanding of Health & Safety.
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A reliable, hardworking and positive attitude.
• Good communication and time-management skills.
• The ability to work under pressure without compromising safety or accuracy.
• A willingness to support colleagues and the wider operation when required.
• A responsible approach to equipment and freight handling.
