£235 per day (typical 9-hour shift)

Job Summary

Orbitech Recruitment are seeking a skilled Formwork Joiner to join our client across sites in North Lincolnshire. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and dismantling formwork structures that shape concrete foundations, walls, and other structural elements.

Responsibilities

* Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and project specifications to determine formwork requirements.

* Assemble, install, and secure formwork using hand tools, power tools, welding techniques, and mechanical fasteners.

* Measure and cut materials accurately to ensure proper fit and alignment of formwork structures.

* Use heavy lifting equipment and techniques safely to position large or heavy formwork components.

* Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly after use.

* Collaborate with carpenters, masons, roofers, and other trades to coordinate the installation process smoothly.

* Conduct inspections of formwork for stability, safety, and adherence to project standards before pouring concrete.

Qualifications

* Proven experience as a Formwork Joiner or in a similar carpentry or construction role involving formwork systems.

* Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, chisels, levels, and measuring devices.

* Skilled in operating power tools including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.

* Strong mechanical knowledge related to formwork assembly and structural support systems.

* Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during installation tasks.

* Knowledge of masonry techniques and roofing systems is advantageous but not mandatory.

* Blue CSCS card
