• Job Type: Part-time (0.855856 FTE, 37 hours per week, 38 weeks per year), 6-month Fixed Term Contract

We are seeking a motivated, dynamic, and reliable Foundation Learning Facilitator to join our specialist department. This role is crucial in providing inclusive education and support to students with additional needs in emotional, social, behavioural, and learning aspects. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in facilitating the delivery of vocational subjects and personal development skills.

• Facilitate the delivery of vocational subjects including cooking skills, sports/exercise, personal and social development, employability, and life skills.
• Provide 1:1 support and manage smaller class settings to cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Implement varied teaching styles and increased differentiation to enhance learning outcomes.
• Support students in developing techniques for emotional regulation, social skills, and independence.
• Work collaboratively within the team to ensure a cohesive approach to student development.
• Focus on developing physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and employability skills for each learner.

• Experience in working with students who require additional support due to emotional, social, behavioural, and learning needs.
• Ability to deliver and facilitate vocational training and personal development subjects.
• Strong commitment to developing learners with a wide range of needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A proactive and dynamic approach to teaching and learning.
