Job Description:
Our client is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Foundation Trainee Pharmacist to join their team on a permanent basis. This role is designed for recent pharmacy graduates who are eager to embark on their professional journey and gain comprehensive, hands-on experience in a clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care:

Assist in the provision of high-quality patient care, including the preparation and dispensing of medications, counseling patients on medication use, and monitoring for adverse drug reactions.
Clinical Support:

Support the clinical pharmacy team in delivering pharmaceutical services, conducting medication reviews, and participating in ward rounds.
Pharmaceutical Services:

Ensure the safe and effective use of medicines within the healthcare setting, including prescription verification, medication reconciliation, and adherence to clinical guidelines.

Requirements:
A Master’s degree in Pharmacy (MPharm) from a recognized university.
Successful completion of a pre-registration training program.
Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a trainee pharmacist.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Passion for patient care and improving health outcomes.

Desirable Skills:
Experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy setting.
Familiarity with electronic prescribing and medication administration systems.
Basic knowledge of pharmacovigilance and medication safety practices.
