FP&A Finance Business Partner | Contract Opportunity | Insurance | Manchester

We’re looking for an experienced FP&A Finance Business Partner to join a leading insurance business based in Manchester, supporting financial planning, performance management and strategic decision-making.

📍 Location: Manchester (hybrid working)

What we’re looking for:

* CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified or actively studying.

* Strong FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering experience.

* Experience within the insurance or wider financial services sector is highly desirable.

* Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial planning.

* Excellent P&L analysis, financial modelling and variance analysis skills.

* Experience producing monthly management reports and providing insight into financial performance.

* Ability to partner with stakeholders across finance, underwriting, claims and commercial teams.

* Strong understanding of cost management, financial controls and profitability analysis.

* Advanced Excel skills and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights.

Key responsibilities:

* Lead and support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning cycles.

* Analyse actual performance against budget, forecast and prior periods.

* Deliver insightful monthly management reporting and P&L analysis.

* Partner with key stakeholders to understand business performance and drive financial accountability.

* Support strategic planning, scenario modelling and business case analysis.

* Identify financial risks, opportunities and cost optimisation initiatives.

* Provide commercial insight to support profitability and business growth
